Dr. Rita Chaiken ’03 Now ADA President

rita chaikenAudiology alumna, Rita R. Chaiken, AuD ’03, has been elected president of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) for the 2016 program year. Dr. Chaiken was officially appointed president during the opening general session of the ADA convention in November.

Recruited by Dr. George Osborne as an adjunct instructor for the PCO School of Audiology, Dr. Chaiken continues that role at the Salus University Osborne College of Audiology. A renowned cerumen management expert, she also serves as a consultant for Atlanta Hearing Associates in Atlanta, Georgia and served on the State of Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Pathology and Audiology. Dr. Chaiken was the 2014 Salus University Osborne College of Audiology Alumnus of the Year.
