At its most recent Board of Trustees meeting last month, Salus University announced four new appointments.

Rebecca C. Delia
Rebecca Delia is senior vice president of Financial S&Lutions LLC, advising colleges and universities in executing capital raises, including debt raises, sale/leaseback transactions and derivative products. Throughout her career, she has been substantially responsible for more than $1.7 billion in new bond issues for numerous colleges and universities, has prepared rating assessments and assisted with the rating process, including a number of initial ratings for clients, to support financing strategies.
Previously, Delia served as managing director of Public Finance for a large national financial institution, working closely with colleges and universities and both public sector and non-profit clients.
She is a member of the advisory council for the Women’s Network of the United Way and a Founding Board Member of Ladies First, a professional association of women engaged in the public finance industry.
Sarah Wiggins Mitchell
Sarah Wiggins Mitchell, an attorney with an undergraduate degree in nursing and a master’s degree in social work, is currently an independent consultant to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Massachusetts Legal Services Corporation. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations.
Michele Palos-Samsi, PA-C
Michele Palos-Samsi is a certified physician assistant with the Miriam Medical Clinic and the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the St. Catherine Laboure Medical Clinic, both located in Philadelphia. She is dedicated to meeting the medical needs of the marginalized, uninsured population of Philadelphia with quality healthcare.
Terri Albertson
Terri Albertson is currently the controller at Haverford College. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration with a major in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College. Albertson brings more than 25 years of professional experience in not-for-profit organizations which include quasi-governmental agencies, colleges and universities, foundations, behavioral health, social service, cultural organizations, religious organizations and hospitals.
