Why did you choose Optometry?
In the fifth grade, I experienced difficulty seeing the basketball hoop clearly, which impacted my ability to shoot effectively. After discussing this issue with my parents, I visited an optometrist for the first time to address my vision. The optometrist who treated me that day became a significant role model, inspiring my decision to pursue a career in Optometry. Not only did he enhance my vision by introducing me to contact lenses, but his professionalism and compassionate care left an impression on me. His dedication to helping those with vision challenges motivated me to pursue a career in health care, a goal I have held ever since.
