Each year, Salus hosts immersive experiences to eligible prospective or entering students giving the opportunity to interact with students, faculty and staff and to get a feel for what it’s like to be a student.
The Optometry Learning Experience (OLE) program is designed to offer participants the opportunity to investigate the academic study associated with the Doctor of Optometry degree program, as well as the profession of optometry and the many career opportunities available.
During the Audiology Learning Experience (ALE) program, participants spend the day meeting with Audiology faculty members for a round table discussion; observe clinical skills demonstrations in the program‘s clinical labs; sit in on a class; and learn about the University’s admissions process and career trajectories for those who earn a Doctor of Audiology degree.
The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program and the Speech-Language Institute (SLI) of Salus University invite undergraduate students in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), or post-baccalaureate students taking Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) coursework, to participate in a remote observation experience at Salus.
The goal of the newly relaunched Robert E. Horne Summer Enrichment Program is to improve the matriculation, attrition and graduation rates of underrepresented minority applicants through a FREE 5-week hybrid virtual and residential program designed to introduce applicants to PCO's rigorous coursework and establish peer and faculty mentorship.
