A signature event is the annual Harvest Fest, which will take place on October 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, offering a chance to enjoy classic fall harvest activities with options for food and hot cider.
Located in Prospectville, Pennsylvania, about 25 minutes from campus, this farm offers hayrides with access to a pumpkin patch every Saturday and Sunday in October from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's the perfect escape for a mid-day study break or a quick day trip to embrace the autumn spirit.
Located just 30 minutes from campus, this historic penitentiary is one of the most famous haunted houses in the area. The "Halloween Nights" experience includes multiple haunted houses, live performances, themed bars, and historic tours, offering a variety of thrilling experiences all in one location. This event runs on select nights from September 19 through November 8, 2025.
Experience a good scare just 25 minutes from campus in Manayunk. This former textile mill has been transformed into a haunted house, reportedly haunted by its past workers. It’s conveniently located on Main Street, which is full of other fun things to do and explore. While you're there, be sure to check out Taqueria Amor, a Mexican restaurant that features new and exciting themes and menus every month.
The Philadelphia Film Festival will take place from October 16 to 26, showcasing a diverse lineup of films.
