Why did you choose Speech-Language Pathology?

Cassidy wearing a white dress with grad gownThe field of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) offers so many opportunities to make a change, and amongst the various forms of communication disorders, I am determined to become a clinician capable of helping wherever I can. I chose Drexel University, Elkins Park Campus, because of its graduate program that will allow me to learn through vast clinical opportunities, interprofessional experiences, and a mentored education that will equip me to be the best SLP I can be. Not only does Drexel exceed these expectations, but it fulfills the need for support and attention required for each student. By tailoring observations and courses to best equip its students, Drexel raises the standard of a great graduate program. At Drexel, I feel like I've been given the best possible opportunities to become an amazing speech-language pathologist.
